This is the standard 180g remastered LP of Highway to Hell, released on Columbia Records. Remastered from the original master tapes by George Marino at Sterling Sound in New York. Original Albert Productions album housed in a faithful sleeve reproduction.

Highway to Hell came out in July 1979, six months before Bon Scott died. It's the last album he recorded with AC/DC, and it's the faster, rawer, more urgent of the two records most people think of when they think of the band. Where Back in Black is the polished version, this one still has the pub rock in it. Shot Down in Flames and Night Prowler feel built differently from anything on Back in Black. If you have Back in Black and want to go back one album, this is where to go.

Back in Black is the one PRB tends to point people toward first. Highway to Hell is the record that makes sense once you've heard it a few times. Same band, same energy, slightly less shine, which for some people is exactly the point.
