Tapestry is the second studio album from Carole King, first released on 10 February 1971. Overwhelmingly familiar yet still deeply personal, songs driven by her warm piano and honest vocals made it an instant classic. With tracks like I Feel the Earth Move, It’s Too Late, You’ve Got a Friend and (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, it stayed at number one on the Billboard charts for 15 weeks and spent more than 300 weeks on the charts overall
This 50th‑anniversary edition was reissued in 2021 on heavyweight vinyl with beautiful gatefold packaging and lyric sheets for all songs. A download card is included so you can take the music with you. The pressing delivers clear, natural sound, perfect for long listening sessions and rediscovering lyric details. It’s a record that feels familiar but still carries weight decades later.
