This is the Fantasy Records 2LP compilation of Creedence Clearwater Revival greatest hits, catalogue FAN2.1. Twenty tracks across two records, originally compiled and released in 1991.

CCR were active from 1968 to 1972, four years that produced Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, Have You Ever Seen the Rain? and Travelin' Band, among others. Chronicle collects twenty of the best across both LPs. If you've heard Fortunate Son in any war film or Proud Mary in any karaoke bar, they came from John Fogerty and this band. The compilation runs from the swampy debut-era Susie-Q through to the later singles, covering the full run without repeating itself.
