Crowded House - Crowded House (180g LP Reissue)

Crowded House is the 1986 self-titled debut from the trio Neil Finn formed with Paul Hester and Nick Seymour after Split Enz wound down. Produced by Mitchell Froom, recorded mostly in Los Angeles between Capitol Recording Studios and Sunset Sound. Capitol initially gave it low-key promotion. Then Don't Dream It's Over hit number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, the album reached number one in Australia, twelve in the US, and went platinum in four countries.

Don't Dream It's Over, Something So Strong, World Where You Live, Mean To Me. Songs that have stayed in the radio rotation and the public memory for nearly forty years. In the 2025 Triple J Hottest 100 of Australian Songs, Crowded House appeared at numbers five, thirty-eight and sixty-nine. Rolling Stone Australia ranked the album at number seven on their 200 Greatest Albums list. Don't Dream It's Over alone has been covered hundreds of times.

This is the 2025 reissue, pressed on 180 gram heavyweight black vinyl and cut from the original master tapes by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios using his half-speed mastering technique. Faithful reproduction of the original artwork with a printed inner sleeve.
