Engaged, Apparently is a warm, witty rom-com built on one very inconvenient lie. When Finn and Sweeney return home expecting a quiet family celebration, they instead discover their mothers have announced that the two of them are engaged. What begins as damage control quickly becomes something much messier, especially once their fake relationship starts attracting far more attention than either of them can handle.
With childhood history, small-town chaos and plenty of chemistry, this is a lively friends-to-lovers romance full of banter, meddling family and slow-burn tension. A lovely pick for readers who enjoy contemporary Australian romance with humour, heart and a strong sense of community.
