Romance came out in August 2024 and went to number one on the UK Albums Chart, the band's first chart-topper. It was recorded shortly after their tour supporting Arctic Monkeys, and the production is bigger and more textured than anything they'd made before, which was the point. Starburster was the lead single and is the one most people heard first. Motorcycle Boy and Favourite sit toward the back and are the ones that tend to stay with people. If you have Dogrel or Skinty Fia on the shelf, Romance is the natural next step.
