The Restrung album combined orchestral reimaginings of tracks from Drinking from the Sun (2012, ARIA #1) and Walking Under Stars (2014, ARIA #1), performed with the 32-piece Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the 20-piece Adelaide Chamber Singers, conducted by Hamish Mackenzie. 1955 (feat. Montaigne, Tom Thum) reached number two on the ARIA Singles Chart and 12 times platinum certification. Higher (feat. James Chatburn) reached number nine and 3 times platinum. The album debuted at ARIA number one: Hilltop Hoods' fifth number-one album. That is the record this 3LP collects, across 19 tracks and six sides.

There was an earlier vinyl pressing of this album. This 2026 edition is the coloured vinyl version, on split blue and yellow across all three discs. The gatefold sleeve houses all three LPs.
