The Great Expanse captures the Hilltop Hoods at their most adventurous. It’s big and cinematic, but still deeply personal, the kind of record that shows how far Australian hip-hop had come by 2019. From the sweeping hooks of “Leave Me Lonely” to the reflective pulse of “Clark Griswold,” it’s a late-career high point built for both headphones and big rooms.
This 2025 reissue brings the album back to vinyl on Black Vinyl 2 LP, cut at 45 RPM and pressed on heavyweight wax. The new edition matches the group’s refreshed catalogue design, housed in a sturdy gatefold sleeve and made to last. It's the perfect way to revisit one of their most complete works.
