Hive Pocket is a compact version of the well-known Hive strategy game, designed for two players.
There’s no board. Instead, players build the playing area as they go, placing insect tiles and moving them to surround the opponent’s queen bee. Each insect moves in a different way, so positioning and timing matter.
The pocket edition includes the Ladybug and Mosquito expansions, adding more variation without changing the simplicity of the core game.
It’s easy to learn but rewards careful thinking, making it a good option if you enjoy quiet, strategic play.

I recently bought the 30th anniversary edition of Silverchair’s Frogstomp and a limited edition numbered copy of John Farnham’s Whispering Jack, both on vinyl and I couldn’t be happier.
