When the Hoodoo Gurus dropped Mars Needs Guitars! back in 1985, they changed the face of Aussie rock, garage grit met pop hooks and irreverent swagger. This 40th-anniversary edition gives you that landmark record in spectacular form, for the collectors, the fans, and anyone who believes rock-’n’roll still matters.
This deluxe 2-LP set features: LP 1 pressed as a full-colour picture disc of the original album; LP 2 pressed on Ozone Green glow-in-the-dark vinyl packed with previously unreleased demos and the never-heard-before outtake “Johnny”. It arrives wrapped in original artwork by Richard Allen, an inner sleeve with handwritten lyrics to “Show Some Emotion” by Dave Faulkner, and an A2 fold-out “Like Wow Tour” poster
