Live - Throwing Copper (25th Anniversary 2LP Vinyl)

This is the 25th Anniversary 2LP edition of Throwing Copper, Live's 1994 second album, released in 2019 on Geffen Records. Seventeen tracks across four sides, including three bonus tracks not on the original release.

Throwing Copper came out in April 1994 and went to number one in the US. In Australia, Lightning Crashes and I Alone were staples on Triple J for the better part of two years. The album is melodic, heavy in the right places, and lyrically more considered than most alternative rock from the same era. If you owned this on CD in the 90s and haven't heard it in a while, the 2LP with the bonus tracks is the reason to come back to it properly.

The original 1994 Throwing Copper had fourteen tracks. This 25th anniversary pressing adds Hold Me Up, We Deal in Dreams and Susquehanna on Side D, making it the most complete physical version of the album. If you have the original CD or a standard LP pressing, those three tracks are the new material here.
