Harvest Moon came out in 1992, twenty years after Harvest. It brought back the Stray Gators (Ben Keith, Spooner Oldham, Tim Drummond and Kenny Buttrey), with Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor and Nicolette Larson on harmonies. Most of it was recorded in the barn studio on Young's ranch in Woodside, California. Natural Beauty, the ten-minute closer, was taped live in Portland and finished afterwards. Young produced it with Ben Keith, and Chris Bellman cut this edition at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
