Murder Ballads is Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' ninth studio album, originally released in 1996. This 2015 remastered edition brings new depth to its dark and haunting narratives, pressed on two heavyweight black vinyl records.
The album delves into tales of love, death, and violence, featuring standout tracks like "Where the Wild Roses Grow" with Kylie Minogue and "Henry Lee" with PJ Harvey. Cave's storytelling is at its most vivid, weaving gothic imagery with raw emotion.
This edition is housed in a gatefold sleeve, offering both visual and auditory experiences that complement the album's intense themes.
