The debut album from Old Mervs has finally landed. After years of building a loyal following with their surfy, punchy sound and honest lyrics, the Western Australian duo have released a record that feels like a love letter to their journey so far.
Written on the same Kojonup farm where it all began, this album is full of energy, optimism and that signature Old Mervs warmth. Tracks like Cellphone and Waiting Around are already crowd favourites, but the whole record is packed with catchy guitar lines, clean hooks and lyrics that just hit the right spot.
Pressed on striking Kingswood Red vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve, this edition feels as special as the band’s story.
Did you know?
The name Old Mervs comes from a nickname the boys gave each other in high school. It was originally an inside joke about dressing like retired farmers — flannelettes, stubby shorts and all.
A must for anyone who loves Aussie rock, or just wants to support something real and homegrown.
