Description:
Immerse yourself in the haunting debut album Stranger in the Alps from indie sensation Phoebe Bridgers. Released on Dead Oceans, this record established Bridgers as a poignant voice in modern music, blending raw introspection with ethereal melodies. Highlights include soul-stirring tracks like "Motion Sickness," "Funeral," and "Scott Street," each resonating with listeners through their emotional depth and vulnerability.
Having gained early recognition with her Killer EP on Ryan Adams' Pax-Am label, Bridgers has gone on to collaborate with Conor Oberst (Better Oblivion Community Center), Julien Baker, and Mitski, cementing her place in indie-folk royalty.

Did you know? The album title comes from a creative misinterpretation of the phrase "strangers in the alps," famously dubbed into a TV version of The Big Lebowski—a quirky homage to her love of storytelling.
