Evil Empire followed the explosive debut of Rage Against The Machine with an even tighter and more rhythm-driven approach. Released in 1996, the album leans further into stripped back riffs and percussive intensity, giving space for Zack de la Rocha’s pointed lyricism and Tom Morello’s inventive guitar work to cut through with clarity.
This 180 gram vinyl edition presents the full original album, including “Bulls On Parade,” “People Of The Sun,” and “Vietnow.” Direct, confrontational, and precisely executed, Evil Empire remains a defining release of 1990s heavy music and a natural companion piece to the band’s debut.
