Core came out in 1992 and was a commercial success before it was a critical one. The reviews came later. Sex Type Thing and Wicked Garden were the early singles, but Plush is the one that won the Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance in 1994. Scott Weiland's voice carries the whole record: wide enough to go from vulnerable to threatening within the same song. This is the 2017 remaster pressing.
