The Fray are a piano-led rock band from Denver, Colorado. How to Save a Life was their debut, released in 2005. The title track soundtracked some of the most memorable moments in Grey's Anatomy's third season, which is how most people first heard it, even if they couldn't place it at the time. Over My Head (Cable Car) was their other major single from this record. The album sold over two million copies in the United States.
