The Smallest Restaurant in Paris is a memoir from Rachel Khoo, the cook and writer behind The Little Paris Kitchen. It is the story behind that kitchen: how a young woman from south London, trained at Le Cordon Bleu and broke, ended up running a two-seat restaurant out of her tiny Paris flat.

Khoo writes about arriving in Paris with no money, taking whatever work she could find, and slowly turning small dinners at home into something people queued for. It is a book about following food somewhere new, and about learning to enjoy the long way round rather than only the arrival.
