Moondance is the 1970 album that confirmed Van Morrison’s move toward a more fluid, jazz influenced sound. Where his earlier work carried a looser folk edge, this record feels warm, rhythmic and assured, built around tight arrangements and expressive vocal phrasing. It is an album that unfolds naturally, side by side, with a relaxed confidence.
Featuring enduring tracks such as “Moondance,” “Into The Mystic,” “Crazy Love,” and “Caravan,” the album balances intimacy with groove. This Rhino vinyl edition presents the full original release, making it a dependable cornerstone for any classic rock collection and a rewarding listen for both new and long time fans.
