Album Title: Violent Femmes (35th Anniversary Reissue)
Artist: Violent Femmes
Special Features: 180-gram vinyl, remastered audio
From teenage angst to folk-punk anthems, Violent Femmes’ 1983 self-titled debut remains one of the most raw and honest records of its time. This 35th-anniversary reissue brings new life to classics like "Blister in the Sun", "Kiss Off", and "Add It Up", all with the warmth of 180-gram vinyl. The Milwaukee trio’s mix of acoustic punk and sardonic storytelling makes this album as essential now as it was in the ‘80s.

Did you know? The album only became a hit after being discovered by chance. A radio DJ in Los Angeles found the record in the station’s reject pile and started playing "Blister in the Sun", which led to a cult following and, eventually, platinum sales.
