Get Born came out in October 2003 and went to number one in Australia. Jet were a Melbourne four-piece who wore their influences openly. They drew from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Stooges, and made a record that sounded like all of them without sounding like any of them. Are You Gonna Be My Girl is the track everyone knows, but Look What You've Done and Cold Hard Bitch gave the album its range. If you were 18 to 28 in 2003 and had it on rotation, the 180g pressing is the one to have.
