This is a 180g vinyl LP pressing of The Doors' sixth studio album, L.A. Woman, originally released on Elektra Records in April 1971. WEA International pressing.

L.A. Woman was recorded in the band's rehearsal space on Santa Monica Boulevard in late 1970 and early 1971, after their regular producer Paul Rothchild walked out during pre-production, calling what he heard "cocktail music." Engineer Bruce Botnick stepped in to produce. Working without a conventional studio setup, The Doors tracked the album with session bassist Jerry Scheff and rhythm guitarist Marc Benno. The result was their most blues-rooted record. Jim Morrison died in Paris on 3 July 1971, three months after its release.
