Rose Tattoo was formed in Sydney in 1976. Their debut was produced by the Vanda and Young team, who were simultaneously producing AC/DC. Nice Boys was covered by Guns N' Roses in 1986 on their debut EP Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide, and again on G N' R Lies in 1988. Rock n' Roll Outlaw charted in France and Germany, helping the band build a European following that preceded their Australian commercial breakthrough.
